Ondo RWAs on 1inch hit $2.5 bln in volume

Crypto markets may go up and down, but tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) are steadily gaining ground on-chain.

Institutional adoption is accelerating, pushing Ethereum’s RWA TVL past $15 bln - a 200% year-over-year increase. The integration of Ondo’s tokenized stocks and ETFs on 1inch is helping drive this growth, pointing to a structural shift in how users access traditional assets through DeFi infrastructure.

RWA market growth

Despite fluctuations across the wider crypto ecosystem, the RWA sector continues to expand, with on-chain data showing steady growth in tokenized assets and capital inflows.

This resilience highlights increasing demand for blockchain-based exposure to traditional financial instruments, positioning RWAs as one of the most robust and fastest-growing narratives in crypto today.

As RWA issuance accelerates across platforms, liquidity aggregation becomes increasingly critical - a role now firmly established by 1inch, enabling efficient price discovery and seamless access to tokenized assets across DeFi markets.

Ondo tokenized stocks on 1inch hit $2.5 bln

Since announcing the partnership in September 2025, RWA trading volume on 1inch for Ondo has surpassed $2.5 bln, according to the 1inch Dune analytics dashboard, underscoring strong user adoption and execution efficiency.

This milestone reflects growing confidence in tokenized treasuries and equities, while reinforcing 1inch’s role as a leading liquidity aggregation layer for real-world asset flows. The sustained volume growth signals more than short-term interest - it points to a structural shift in how capital accesses traditional financial instruments through decentralized infrastructure.

BNB Chain dominance

BNB Chain, powered by Binance Wallet, is leading across key performance indicators - volume, transaction count and active users - for RWAs traded via 1inch. Over the period covered by 1inch’s RWA dashboard data, BNB Chain recorded ~$2.0 bln in trading volume across ~1.30 mln transactions, with active users peaking at ~24,800 in a single period. The chain’s accessibility and retail distribution strength have made it the primary hub for tokenized asset activity, accelerating mainstream participation in on-chain RWAs.

What tokenized assets are hot?

Among the most actively traded RWAs are tokenized securities backed by equities and commodities, with on-chain exposure linked to companies such as Nvidia ($354 mln in volume), Tesla ($332 mln, Google ($249 mln) and Netflix ($98mln)

Commodity-linked tokens have also seen strong traction, with exposure to Silver (~$225 mln in volume) emerging as one of the leading non-equity RWAs traded via 1inch. Collectively, these assets account for hundreds of thousands of transactions, underscoring sustained demand for blockchain-based access to globally recognized financial instruments. This distribution highlights growing user interest in seamless, on-chain exposure to traditional equities and commodities through DeFi infrastructure.

The border between TradFi and DeFi is blurring

The sustained acceleration of tokenized RWA volume, particularly the $2 bln landmark achieved through the 1inch and Ondo integration on BNB Chain, solidifies the segment's maturity and institutional viability.

As decentralized infrastructure continues to offer efficient, borderless access to traditional financial instruments, RWAs are moving from a nascent trend to a foundational pillar of the crypto ecosystem, signaling a future where the lines between TradFi and DeFi are increasingly blurred.
