Meet the DeFi Academy Quest: a 5-day educational journey built around real DeFi scenarios and real decisions, with daily prizes and a grand finale on January 24 for World Education Day.

The Quest starts today, January 19, and runs through January 24, celebrating learning, curiosity and practical DeFi knowledge. To participate, head to our X profile and reply to the daily scenario post when it goes live.

Why DeFi Academy is at the center of the quest

DeFi Academy is our educational blog series and learning hub for practical, user-first DeFi education. Instead of memorizing definitions, it helps build understanding step by step. It explains key DeFi concepts, risks and mechanics in a clear and accessible way.

We celebrate World Education Day on January 24 by highlighting DeFi Academy as a place where learning turns into confidence. The quest is designed to turn that knowledge into a habit: read, anchor, reason, answer.

What is the DeFi Academy Quest?

Throughout the quest, a new scenario is published each day. Every scenario is based on a real DeFi situation and includes a question and a reference to a relevant DeFi Academy article.

The task is not to guess the correct answer, but to use DeFi Academy to explain your reasoning.

How to participate

You have 24 hours from the moment the new scenario goes live to submit your reply.

To submit a qualified reply:

• Give us your take. In 1-2 sentences, explain what you would do in this situation and why.
• Pick a key phrase from the suggested blog post that supports your reasoning. Don’t paste full paragraphs, just pick the most relevant bits.

How daily winners are chosen

• Replies are accepted for 24 hours each day, starting from the moment the daily scenario is published.
• One reply per account per day.
• Winners are selected at random from all valid entries.

How grand prize winners are chosen

• To be eligible for the big merch bundle, submit qualified replies on at least 3 different days.
• There will be three overall winners, selected randomly from all eligible participants.
• To be eligible for the 1inch skateboard, you must reply on all five days. The winner will be selected at random from the group of all eligible participants.

Daily prizes

Each day, the winner receives a merch bundle:

• T-shirt
• bucket hat
• keychain

Grand prizes

At the end of the quest, three overall winners are selected. Each gets a larger bundle:

• holiday sweater
• T-shirt
• shopper bag
• cap

Skateboard bonus

One entrant will be selected at random from all those who entered on all five days, to receive a 1inch skateboard

Note on selection

All winners are selected by entering X handles into a spreadsheet and selecting one row using a random number generator.
