A year-end DeFi puzzle challenge: 3 brain teasers

Try a mini DeFi challenge in three parts: a word puzzle, term sorting and a quick logic test.

End-of-year season is here, so we prepared a small DeFi challenge to solve between holiday plans. Three short puzzles, no market noise, just patterns, logic and familiar crypto concepts. We’ll update this post with the official answers tomorrow at 2:00 pm UTC.

Puzzle1

Find a 7-letter DeFi word (English). You are given 5 guesses. For each guess:

  • = the letter is in the correct position
  • ~ the letter is in the word but in a different position
  • . the letter is not in the word

Guesses (word → pattern)

Puzzle 2

There are three letter “pools.” In each pool, the letters are glued together. One DeFi/crypto term has drifted into the wrong pool.

Rules:

  • after splitting, each pool must contain exactly 3 terms
  • each term must be a single word (no spaces)
  • all 9 terms must be different
  • exactly one term is currently in the wrong pool and must be moved to another pool

Answer format:

(a) misplaced term: ________

(b) move it to pool: A / B / C
