In October, we struck a long-term partnership agreement with the Bruce Lee Family Company aimed at fostering adoption of DeFi and Web3 among mass audiences under the slogan “Take crypto seriousLee.”

From its inception, 1inch has been deeply inspired by the legacy of Bruce Lee, the iconic Hong Kong-American martial artist and actor, regarded as one of the greatest martial artists in history. The name “1inch” itself is derived from Bruce Lee’s famous “one-inch punch,” and we have consistently embraced his qualities of versatility, agility, and innovation - traits that have guided us in developing our products.

Now, we formalized our connection to Bruce Lee by partnering with the Bruce Lee Family Company, a mission-driven organization dedicated to sharing Bruce Lee’s art and philosophy to inspire personal growth and harmonious individuality.

The 1inch/Bruce Lee Family Company partnership kicked off with the release of this video.

In other news, 1inch formed a partnership with Bitget Wallet, a leading wallet solution in the DeFi space. 

Through this collaboration, Bitget Wallet integrated 1inch as an aggregator to bolster its swap functionality, offering users a better experience and more competitive pricing. In turn, 1inch included Bitget Wallet as a wallet connect option.

Events

In October, 1inch took part in the Hong Kong FinTech Week, which gathered numerous industry leaders sharing insights and trends in the FinTech sector.

At the event, we announced our partnership with the Bruce Lee Family Company in a meet-and-greet event with Shannon Lee, the daughter of Bruce Lee. Meanwhile, 1inch co-founder Sergej Kunz delivered a keynote address as part of the Blockchain & Digital Assets Forum, followed by a blockchain talk on HKFTW’s main stage. 

Additionally, 1inch presented Party SeriousLee: A Celebration of Spirit!, a unique edition of our renowned parties, merging celebration, philosophy and enjoyment. Drawing inspiration from the wisdom of Bruce Lee, the event went beyond a simple gathering: it was a journey of self-exploration and connection, held in the lively heart of Hong Kong.

HKFTW was followed by SmartCon, where Sergej gave a keynote speech, “Exploring cross-chain swaps: 1inch Fusion+ simplified.”
