1inch in September: support for RWAs, partnership with Barter
In September, 1inch saw some interesting news and developments - catch up with our quick digest.
Updates, news and integrations
In September, the 1inch Swap API was upgraded to support tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). For quite some time, tokenized RWAs have been among the hottest topics in crypto. However, one major hurdle stood in the way of broader RWA adoption: liquidity.
The upgraded 1inch Swap API solves this issue, making access to tokenized real-world assets as seamless and efficient as swapping native cryptocurrencies - powered by 1inch’s leading liquidity aggregation technology.
With this update, RWAs are now available via the 1inch dApp and Wallet for eligible users (excluding those in the US and other restricted regions). They can also be accessed through partner integrations using the Swap API via 1inch Business (formerly 1inch DevPortal) - which operates without such restrictions - with Trust Wallet being among the latest major DeFi platforms to integrate this core 1inch technology.
User access to RWAs through 1inch is facilitated by Ondo Finance, a liquidity provider and leader in tokenized real-world assets.
Also in September, we announced a partnership with Barter, which joined a pool of 1inch’s resolvers executing users’ intent-based swaps, to deliver even more efficient and cost-effective trading experience.
The 1inch Swap API has already been integrated by multiple projects, enabling seamless and secure crypto swaps for their users. In this case study, we explain how the 1inch Swap API benefits THORWallet users.
In other news, OKX Wallet activated the 1inch Swap API, while 1inch joined the Blockchain Association.
