1inch in October: rebrand, collab with Ledger
In October, 1inch saw some interesting news and developments - catch up with our quick digest.
Updates, news and integrations
In early October, 1inch unveiled a major rebrand that highlights simplicity, scale and integration - marking our evolution from the first DEX aggregator into a full-fledged Web3 ecosystem. The new brand reflects 1inch’s mission to connect DeFi, centralized institutions and traditional finance.
To see how our new visual identity embodies the maturing promise of DeFi as a foundational technology for global financial freedom, check out this blog post.
In addition to connecting DeFi and traditional finance, 1inch has been actively working to enhance the DeFi user experience. The latest step in that direction is a recently announced partnership with Ledger.
Ledger’s new feature allows users to connect their signer to dApps with a single click - just like they would with any popular software wallet. And 1inch is the first dApp to implement that feature - so that Ledger users can swap crypto at the best available rates.
As we continue to collaborate with major projects in the crypto space, 1inch integrated its Swap API into the major crypto exchange Coinbase’s app to bring seamless, secure and swift token swaps to Coinbase’s DEX trading platform users. The integration of the 1inch Swap API by Coinbase represents the DEX aggregator’s most significant US client to date.
In other partnership news, 1inch integrated Flowdesk as resolver for Societe Generale’s EURCV and USDCV stablecoin deployment, while Innerworks’ AI-based monitoring now helps 1inch detect synthetic attacks and bot fraud.
Meanwhile, as 1inch continues to drive the development of secure, compliant DeFi on the path toward mass adoption, we received ISO 27001 certification - the global benchmark for information security - along with SOC 2 (Type 1) attestation.
This marks a major milestone in demonstrating to users, partners and regulators that DeFi can deliver the same standards of security and trust as traditional finance, while preserving its core values of independence and self-custody.
Events
In early October, 1inch took part in TOKEN2049 in Singapore. You can check out the summaries of presentations delivered during the event by 1inch co-founders Sergej Kunz and Anton Bukov.
