1inch expands to Linea
The expansion to Linea will provide 1inch users with deeper liquidity and lower transaction costs.
Continuing its expansion across the DeFi space, 1inch is excited to share that classic, Fusion and Fusion+ swaps are now available on Linea, the leading zkEVM Layer 2 network.
Developed by Consensys, Linea is designed to enhance scalability and reduce transaction costs while maintaining full compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). By leveraging zero-knowledge (zk) rollup technology, Linea enables fast, secure and cost-effective transactions, providing users with a seamless experience comparable to traditional web applications.
For developers, Linea offers a robust environment to build dApps without compromising on security or decentralization. The platform provides comprehensive documentation, tutorials and support, ensuring a smooth development process. Additionally, Linea's deep integration with MetaMask connects dApps to a vast user base, facilitating broader adoption and engagement within the Web3 ecosystem.
The Linea ecosystem already features hundreds of apps and protocols.
“In moving toward our mission to empower everyone to live on-chain, Linea’s approach has been to take web3 user, builder and community experience to higher levels,” Linea said on its website. “With innovations in security, digital identity, payments, and DeFi, as well as community nurturing and organization, we’ve aimed to lower barriers to entry, create the most secure environment, streamline everyday processes, and elevate the whole Web3 experience.”
