Following a major rebrand, the 1inch dApp has become even more efficient and user-friendlier.

DeFi shouldn’t feel clunky. And the latest updates to the 1inch dApp make sure it doesn’t. The improvements deliver a smoother, faster trading experience designed to cut friction and boost efficiency. Users are getting UX similar to what they’d expect from a traditional platform, while keeping all the benefits of DeFi.

Streamlined user experience

To start off, the main URL for the 1inch dApp has changed to 1inch.com. The dApp now focuses exclusively on the swap functionality, featuring two options - Swap and Pro.

In Swap, you can make intent-based or cross-chain swaps. In just a few clicks you can swap tokens within the same network or across chains, getting the best rates. You just post your swap and let resolvers - professional market makers - do the rest. Plus, your swaps are MEV-protected by design.

1inch Pro is a suite of advanced tools for professional traders, combining the openness and safety of DeFi with the flexible, tailored user experience typical of centralized exchanges. In 1inch Pro, you can place Market or Limit orders, also benefiting from advanced trading features. To learn more about the Pro trading interface, check out this blog post.

Meanwhile, staking and delegation have been moved to 1inch.network, with no changes to the user flow.

Swap improvements

The Swap form has gone through a major redesign to streamline user experience. The summary panel at the bottom - previously showing “Min. Receive,” “Slippage” and other parameters - has been removed, reducing clutter.

Instead, transaction details now appear in a concise signing modal as soon as a user confirms the transaction. Similarly, the “Send to another wallet” option is no longer a separate feature, but is built directly into the Swap form for a smoother flow.

Visuals have also been simplified: token icons have been removed from within the Swap form itself, while still remaining visible in the Token Picker for clarity. Transaction settings previously found on the form have been taken out, and instead, quick-action buttons (Max, 50%, 25%) have been added directly to the source input field, making it easier to enter amounts with a single click.

Meanwhile, one of the biggest changes is the removal of the wrapping step. Transactions that involve EVM networks’ native tokens, such as ETH or POL, are now executed like any other swap - without requiring a separate wrapping or unwrapping transaction. This eliminates unnecessary friction and saves valuable time.

Token Picker updates

The Token Picker has also been upgraded with a cleaner look and smarter organization. Network icons have been removed, leaving only token icons for a simpler interface. The picker now highlights user-relevant categories: “My Tokens” (with balances visible when a wallet is connected) and curated collections like Trending, Gainers, New and Most Viewed, featuring only whitelisted tokens.

“My Tokens” entries display the balance in USD along with the 24h price change, while other tokens show current USD price and 24h change. Hovering over a token reveals a tooltip with more detailed stats, including price changes across 1h, 24h, 7d and 24h trading volume.

Finally, token selection has been made more flexible: clicking on a token opens a side panel for choosing the network. If a user holds the token on multiple networks, the balance is displayed per network, while for unsupported tokens, the field remains blank.

These improvements to the 1inch dApp are designed to take efficiency and user experience to the next level.
