1inch adds Ledger connectivity

Ledger signers - the most popular security devices in crypto - now connect to the 1inch dApp in just one click, giving users seamless, secure token swaps at the best rates.

Now, that friction is gone. Ledger’s new feature enables users to connect their signer to dApps with a single click - just like with any popular software wallet. And 1inch is the first dApp to implement that feature - so that Ledger users can swap crypto at the best available rates.

Ledger signers are designed to keep users’ digital assets safe. Unlike software wallets, which store private keys online or on connected devices, signers keep those keys completely offline, isolated from potential hacks or malware. They add a physical layer of security: to confirm a transaction, the user must approve it directly on the signer. Its flagship models - Ledger Nano X™, Ledger Nano S Plus™, Ledger Stax™, Ledger Flex™, and now the all new Ledger Nano™ Gen5 - combine advanced encryption with ease of use, supporting thousands of assets and DeFi integrations.

The Ledger new direct connectivity will initially be available only on desktops (Chrome, Brave and other Chromium-based browsers), supporting all Ledger devices, except for the original Ledger Nano S, and only EVM-compatible chains. The Ledger connectivity feature will be rolled out gradually across markets.
